Puttur woman who fell into curry vessel on May 30 dies

Mangaluru: A woman, who slipped and fell into a curry vessel while serving mid-day meal at the school, succumbed to her injuries at St. Victor’s School under Puttur Town Police Station limits in Dakshina Kannada District.

The deceased has been identified as Agnes Pramila D’Souza (37). Pramila D’Souza, who was working as a cook at St. Victor’s School in Puttur, slipped and fell into a sambar container kept near the school’s kitchen door at around 12 noon on May 30.

She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and was admitted to Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru for further treatment. However, she failed to respond to the treatment and died. A case has been registered at Puttur Town Police Station in this regard.
