Revolutionary affordable housing to be provided by Land Links Builders

Mangaluru: Land Links Builders are providing cheap housing in their township marking their 35th year anniversary. The launching ceremony of their new ‘Green Park II’ project has dawned on the idea of revolutionizing the real estate market in favour of the middle class.

The company will deliver 35 apartments in ‘Green Park II’ out of which 20 are already booked. The one BHK apartment will cost Rs. 18 lakhs in real which is indeed inexpensive while compared to the cost of owning an apartment in prime locations these days. The project boasts of a 42 cents land with more than 60% open space and 40% built up space to have more recreation area for the residents.

Rajesh Konchady, the local Corporator said that Land Links is a favourable residential area. “There is no water problem in the area and neither is there a problem with heat. Since the place has a lot of trees and is built in the lowlands, a cool and conducive atmosphere is present”, he added.

Shubhash Naik, the Manager of Land Links said that the new project will have a number of facilities. “People these days prefer to live in apartment buildings. Land Links Green Park II caters to their needs with a dedicated yoga pavilion, gym, library, WiFi connectivity, garden landscaping, indoor and outdoor game area. Moreover, Green Park II has banks, ATMs, Bus stands, schools and A J Hospital nearby connected with concrete roads”, he said.

Krishna J Palemar, the Chairman of Land Links Builders spoke to the gathering about how he managed to give the apartments for such a low cost. He thanked K Gopalkrishna Shenoy, owner of the land for selling the land to him at a low cost which made it possible to sell the apartments for cheaper costs.

“There are many more upcoming projects which the company wants to sell at reduced cost so that the middle class and lower middle class people can afford an apartment”, said Palemar.

The Chief Engineer of the project Yogish Pai, Namma TV news anchor Naveen Kumar Shetty, the person behind development of this project Krishnaraja Mayya and Land Links Convenor Pradeep Palemar were also present at the event.
