Right wing goon Bhuvith Shetty granted bail by HC

Bantwal: The High Court, on Wednesday January 20 granted bail to Bhuvith Shetty, accused in the BC Road rioting incident.

The situation which had turned tense in Madikeri following the death of one person following clashes that had erupted over Tipu Sulthan birth anniversary celebrations had repercussions in B C Road. During the disturbance that sprung up in B C Road, Shetty was accused of pelting stones.

Bhuvith was also arrested for the murder of Harish Poojary which took place on November 12 at Manihalla near BC Road. In this case too, he has applied for bail in the high court.

The single judge bench of the HC presided over by Justice A V Chandrashekhar, which heard the petition filed by Bhuvith Shetty, came to the conclusion that Bhuvith is eligible to get bail in the case as there are no appropriate evidences on record to show that he had directly participated in the said activity.

He earlier hit headlines after making derogatory remarks and justifying the killing of scholar M M kalburgi.
