Mangaluru: If sources are to be believed, then Mangaluru City Police Commissioner S Murugan will be transferred and M Chandrashekar will take charge.
Chandra Sekhar is presently serving as joint commissioner of police (crime), Bengaluru city.
Murugan had taken charge as the Mangaluru City Commissioner of Police on January 1, 2015. However, with series of communal issues sparking in the region, specifically the Prashanth Poojary murder case in Moodabdiri, the right wings had demanded the transfer of Murugan.
