Mangaluru: Sasikanth Senthil S assumed office as the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada on Friday, Oct 20.
Sasikanth Senthil was previously posted as Director of Mines and Geology department, Bengaluru.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Kumar who was in-charge DC, handed over the charge to newly the appointed DC.
Sasikanth Senthil who hails from Tamil Nadu, has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication and is a 2009 batch IAS officer.
He also served as Deputy Commissioner of Chitradurga and Raichur Districts, as Assitant Commissioner in Bellary from 2009 to 2012 and as CEO of Shivamogga Zilla Panchayath.
