Mangaluru: Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences College and Hospital, Ujire, Dhramasthala, will be organizing ‘Nisargopachar Mahotsava – 2020’, a Free Mega Naturopathy and Yoga Health Check-up and Awareness Camp on Sunday, February 9, at Sahyadri College of Engineering and management, Adyar, Mangaluru.
The programme is sponsored by the National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Pune, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India.
The programme will be inaugurated by Dr B M Hegde, former vice chancellor, Manipal University and will be presided over by Prof (Dr) K Satya Lakshmi, Director, National Institute of Naturopath Pune, Ministry of AYUSH, GoI.
MLA U T Khader willb be the chief guest and B M Laxmi Prasad, Superintendent of Police, Dakshina Kannada, Dr Rajeshwari Devi, District Medical Officer, Wenlock District Hospital, Mangaluru and B B Shanbhogue, chartered accountant, Mangaluru will be the guest of honour.
The special invitee for the programme is Dr Wolfgang Schollhorn, Professor, Johannes Guterburg University, Germany.
Highlights of the camp
- Special yoga programme for 100 people in 3-4 classes.
- “Yoga for Helath” special programme by yoga experts from 5.30 am onwards.
- Partcipants should wear loose comfortable cotton clothes, and are requested to bring yoga mat or bed sheets.
- Treatment and advices from experienced yoga and naturopathy doctors.
- Special diet counseling by experts.
