Mangaluru: With the intention to provide financial aid to flood-hit Kodagu and Kerala regions, the Department of Business Administration of St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor will be organising a ’10K Marathon-Run for Humanity’ on Sunday, September 23 at around 6:00 am.
Addressing a press meet at press club here on Friday, September 7, Dr Prakash Pinto said, “The marathon will start from Mangala Stadium and culminate at Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, via Lady Hill, Lalbagh, Bejai, KPT, Nanthoor, Bikarnakatte, Kulshekar, Kudupu”.
The winners of the 10K Marathon in various categories will get a cash prize of more than Rs 30000. Also, the first 200 finishers of the marathon will get a medal after crossing a finishing line, he said adding that certificates and T-Shirts will be given to all the participants.
The registration is open to all aged above 14 years. The entry fees for the marathon will be Rs 200. The registration fees can be paid through Paytm.
