Ullal: Actor Sonu Sood, founder of Sonu Sood Charitable Foundation, announced that they would invest Rs. 76.88 lakh in an oxygen-producing unit at the Ullal primary health centre.
An announcement in this regard was made through his Twitter account. “Our next Oxygen Plant leaves for Mangalore, will be installed this week at Community Health Centre, Ullal, Karnataka. Let’s save lives together. Jai Hind”
While the Foundation was inaugurating a rapid oxygen centre at Mangaluru Central railway station, Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendra K.V. spoke with Foundation officials about the need for an oxygen plant in the district.
In response to the request, the foundation decided to build the plant.
