Mangaluru/Sullia: Sri Venkatramana Credit Co-operative Society was adjudged the best society in the co-operative sector during a state level 63rd Bharath Sahakara Sapthaha – 2016. The society received the prestigious award from the state Co-operatives Minister H S Mahadeva Prasad at a glittering ceremony in Mangaluru.
President of the Shri Venkatramana Credit Co-operative Society Chandra Kolchar received the award in the presence of its Vice President P S Gangadhar and directors.
Minister U T Khader, Member of Legislative Council, Ivan D’souza, Chief Executive Officer K T Vishwanth were present on the dais during the award ceremony among other dignitaries.
This is the second time that the society was rated the best and received the prestigious award in the co-operative sector.
