Mangaluru: The President of the Sri Rama Sene Pramod Muthalik announced on Sunday May 1 that over 1000 temples across the State will play Suprabhata and Omkara from May 9.

“We are not against Masjids or churches, but against those who violate Supreme Court rules. We will keep playing Suprabhata at temples until the illegal loudspeakers are taken down.”

“There will be a conflict if the authorities oppose the practise of playing Suprabhata in temples,” he added.

Muthalik also urged Durga Sene members and women’s committee members to buy gold, silver, and other precious metals from Hindu-owned stores.
