Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has requested all the citizens of Mangaluru to submit Citizen Feedback as part of Swachh Survekshan 2022. MCC stated that it is mandatory to get a minimum of 15,000 feedback counts from Mangaluru City.

The ‘Vote for your City’ programme was launched on March 1 and will end on April 15. A citizen can participate in Citizen Feedback by visiting the Swachh Survekshan website or downloading the official app, where he or she will be asked to provide personal details and information about cleanliness, the ongoing SS survey, and garbage collection.

Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation in cities and towns across India. It was launched as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which aimed to make India clean and free of open defecation by October 2, 2019. This award is given to the City based on public votes from across the country.

Swachh Survekshan 2022 is conducted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), covering all cities across our country to get citizens’ feedback on their City’s progress toward achieving Swachhata both in their City and neighbourhood.
