Mangaluru: An advocate was looted off Rs 5 lakh in broad daylight at KS Rao Road here on Thursday, October 15.
According to reports, advocate Arun Kumar had parked his car in front of the Joy Alukkas showroom in Excel Mall. Two men, who arrived on a motorcycle, broke the window of the right rear door, picked up the bag containing the cash and fled from the spot.
A case has been registered with the Bunder police.
It is said that though the incident was recorded in a CCTV camera installed by Joy Alukkas, the identity of the men is difficult to be ascertained due to poor image quality. Further investigation is underway.
