Mangaluru: Three persons who were who were trying to supply 100 grams of ganja to an inmate were detained by jail security staff at Mangaluru District Prison.
The arrested have been identified as Steven (20), Prashanth (29) and Suraj (24), all residents of Vittal Padavu. The arrested and the seized ganja have been handed over to Barke police who are now further investigating the incident.
It is said that Prajwal who is lodged in the jail in a murder case had to receive the ganja. Prajwal was arrested by Ullal police and is currently in judicial custody.
A case has been registered by the Barke police.
