Tulu Movie Rickshaw Driver to be screened on Sep 27

Mangalore: Rickshaw Driver, Tulu movie produced under the banner Sri Muthu Film will be screened here on Friday September 27.

Addressing the media persons during the press meet held at City Center, here on Thursday September 26, the movie director Ha Su Rajashekar said that the film depicts how auto rickshaw drivers are helpful to the society.  It focuses on communal harmony at the testing prevailing times.  The movie is well balanced, with a moral message.  It also hints at women and children that they got to be alert while travelling in an auto rickshaw, said Rajashekar.

Rajashekar further said that noted sandalwood actors: Aaptamitra movie famed Avinash, Mungaru Male famed Padmaja Rao, Chitra Shenoy and Suresh Mangalore are in the lead roles for the first time ever in Tulu movie.

Russian belly dancer Jenny has been specially flown to India for shooting the movie.  Karthik Banjan (Karthik Attavar) played a lead role as a hero in the movie, while Telugu actor Sara Sharma from Mumbai, Kannada and Telugu actor Neha Saxena from New Delhi are the lead heroines.

The movie producer Praveen Kumar Konchady said that Tulu Theater’s famous artistes Naveen D Padil, Arvind Bolar, Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Satish Bandale and other comedy artistes of ‘Bale Telipale’ Tulu TV show added flavor to the movie.  Naveen D Padil’s African folk-dance and Arvind Bolar’s ‘open Gangam style’ dance are the highlights of the movie.   

Bollywood celebrity singers Udit Narayan, Shankar Mahadevan, Ringa Ringa famed Priya Himesh, Ah Aante Amalapura famed Malati, Saindavi and sandalwood musicians Rajesh Krishnan, Chaitra, Baby Hiranmayi and Mangalore famed Anita D’Souza have contributed their singing.

The movie will be screened at Cinepolis and Big Cinema in Mangalore, Alankar theater in Udupi, Arun theater in Puttur and Nakshatra theater in B C Road, Bantwal.

The lead actors Karthik Attavar and Neha Saxena, music director Wahab Saleem Puttur, comedy artistes Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Arvind Bolar and others were present on the occasion.
