Mangaluru: Taking note of extra rush of passengers on the New Year eve, a special train service will be operated between Kochuveli and Lokmanya Tilak. 06161 Kochuveli – Mumbai CST special will leave Kochuveli at 8.45am on January 2, 2016 and arrive Mumbai CST at 3.15pm on January 3. 06162 Mumbai CST – Kochuveli special will leave Mumbai CST at 4.40pm on January 3, and arrive at Kochuveli at 12.30am on January 5. The composition of these train services is two 3-tire AC coaches, 12 sleeper class coaches and two luggage cum brake van coaches.
Both trains will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Thalassery, Kannur, Kasargod, Mangaluru junction, Udupi, Karwar, Madgaon, Thivim, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Roha, Panvel, Thane and Dadar.
