Kasargod: In a tragic incident, a young computer science student who was extremely attached to her grandfather, claimed her own life after her grandfather breathed his last, on Monday, December 7.
The deceased is Reshma (22).
Reshma’s grandfather P K Kannan (75) passed away in a private hospital at Chervathur on Monday morning.
After her grandfather’s death, Reshma went to the toilet, poured kerosene and set herself ablaze. Though she was brought to a hospital, she could not be saved.
The body was shifted to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
Chandera police have registered a case.
