Young minds exhibit their thoughts in Pilikula

Mangalore: Every kid is creative, intelligent and expressive. You never know how a kid finds a way to express itself but when it does it so, it catches eveyones attraction.

The same was the situation in Pilikula science center when students of higher primary school and high school exhibited thier science models and gained appreciation from the crowd.

The non electric grinding machine by Aditya of St. Johns High school, kokkada, vehicle counting machine by Fatima of ZP school puttur, Automatic Railway crossing, Bio-degradation of waste materials by Melisha of Holy rosary english school, Non-electric projector by yashwinof NITK high school, Cell phone operated rover by Swaraj of karambhag scool,puttur were few of them.

The dept. of education in association with regional science center,pilikula had organised “Inspire-2013” science model exhibition for the higher primery and high school students at regional science center pilikula.

The programme was inagurated by Mr. Ramanath Rai, state minister for forest and environment. He in his inagural address said that the students require a platform to showcase their  talents and the through the inspire project the govt.  of India has shown its commitment to encourage young talents.

MLA of puttur Mrs. Shakuntala Shetty, ZP CEO Parvati Maddineni were the prominent dignitories present at the occassion.

The exhibition, which began today will continue till 26thy of this month. So visit the venue once and encourage the budding talents.
