Bhaskar Shetty murder case: Three main accused back to custody, two await bail procedure

Udupi: The five accused in the Bhaskar Shetty murder case were produced before the court on Monday, October 3. Three main accused, Rajeshwari, Navaneet and Niranjan Bhat have been sent back to judicial custody till October 17.

The other two accused have been granted bail and are waiting to finish off their paper work which will take a couple of days. Raghavendra and Srinivas Bhat will go back home once their lawyers produce the court order copy to the sub-jail in Hiriadka.

Security was enhanced for Rajeshwari after her lawyer claimed that she could be attacked. The accused were brought to the court in a police vehicle after there were objections for bringing Rajeshwari in a bus last time.

There are only 35 more days till the deadline to submit the chargesheet to the court. The two bailed accused are waiting to sign the conditions of the bail before they can go home.
