Udupi: Cartoonu Habba will be held from December 3 to 5 at the Kalamandira in Kundapura of the district. Former MLC Y. S. V. Datta will inaugurate the cartoon festival.
‘Bharatha Mundina 75 Varshagalu’ is the festival’s theme. Throughout the three-day festival, cartoons will be on exhibit. Training will be given on caricatures, writing captions for cartoons, cartoon competitions for students and parents, informed Cartoonist Sathish Acharya.
The funds from caricature sketching will be used to assist poor students. Covid warriors will also be honoured. On the occasion, a series of cartoons on Kannada actor late Puneet Rajkumar by various cartoonists would be exhibited.
