Udupi: Karnataka state minister of water resources DK Shivakumar visited Kolluru Shree Mookambika Temple. He was accompanied by his wife Usha and daughter Aishwarya and the family offered special worship to the deity.
The priests of the temple offered special prayer to goddesses Mookambika Devi on behalf of the minister, who is currently under ED scanner for alleged hawala transactions.
He later visited Varahi dam near Shankaranarayana of Hosangadi village and inspected the work in progress there.
Tunga dam project chief engineer Yathish Chandra, former MLA Gopala Poojary, Varahi chief engineer B Padmanabha, engineers Prasanna, Kiran, N G Bhat, Preetham, Ashok and others were also present on the time of inspection.
