Udupi: The Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Memorial Haji Abdullah Mother and Child Hospital’s doctors, nurses, and other staff went on strike to protest the non-payment of three months’ salary.

It has been found that the hospital, which is managed by the B.R Shetty Group, has not paid its working staff, including doctors and nurses, their salary for the past three months. Pregnant women and other patients waiting for prompt treatment have been inconvenienced as a result of the protest against salary non-payment.

Patients at the hospital have stated that no medical treatment has been offered to anyone since Wednesday morning, despite the fact that more than 200 hospital employees have joined the protest.
