Udupi: Senior BJP leader and Vice-President of the Udupi Government Pre-University College Development Committee Yashpal Suvarna has alleged that the girls who opposed the hijab ban in the Karnataka High Court were “anti-national” and “members of a terrorist organisation.”

Speaking to mediapersons here BJP OBC Morcha’s National General Secretary Suvarna said, “The girls have once again proved that they are not students, but rather members of a terrorist organisation.  They are disregarding the learned judges by making a statement against the High Court verdict. Their statement amounts to contempt of court.”

“What should we expect from them for the country when these students accuse learned judges of being politically motivated and violating the law?  All they’ve proven is that they are anti-national,” Suvarna added.
