Udupi: A student of class VIII ended his life by hanging himself at Kerebettu in Karkala here on the morning of Sunday January 16.
It is said that Anwith Shetty (14) was disappointed as he scored low marks in the examination. He was a student of a private English medium school at Hebri.
Though Anwith, son of Sathish Shetty and Mamata Shetty was immediately taken to the hospital, he was declared brought dead.
A case has been registered in this regard.
