Udupi: MLA Raghupathi Bhat called on the Revenue Department officials to work hard, and provide hassle-free services to the public.
He was addressing a gathering after launching Revenue Documents at Your Doorstep programme at Tenkanidiyur Gram Panchayat here on Saturday March 12.
The MLA said that the programme is unique as the Government has taken the initiative to make sure that the basic documents are easily available to the public without any hassle. The years of struggle by citizens ends with this, he noted.
Bhat also said that a file disposal drive will be implemented in the Udupi Assembly Constituency soon.
Udupi Deputy Commissioner M. Kurma Rao too was present.
