Udupi: The pontiff of Pejavar Matt Shree Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji, has condoled the death of Union Minister Ananth Kumar, here on Monday, November 12.
He said, “I’m deeply saddened by this information. Ananthkumar being a union minister has contributed immensely towards the overall development of the state. He is a tall leader in Indian politics.”
“Ananthkumar has helped in the development of Pejavar Matt too. He had contributed towards the Kanaka Mantap, during my Paryaya (a two-year term of offering pooja to Lord Krishna in Udupi temple) and also towards the Pajaka Kshetra (temple)”, he added.
Pejavar seer also said, “Ananthkumar has facilitated several programmes from the government for the Matt. The Karnataka state too had a lot of expectation from him. But, his untimely death has created a void. Let the Almighty bless his soul with eternal peace.”
