Udupi: Lightning struck the residence of Lingayya Poojari, the Padigar (traditional drummer) of the Perduru Gram Panchayat area, causing damage.
In response, Suresh Shetty, visited the site and conducted an inspection. He suggested to the concerned authorities to provide the highest possible relief to those connected with the incident.
In this context, the Perduru Gram Panchayat President Chetana, Vice President Devu Poojari, and members of the Gram Panchayat, along with prominent party members and workers, were present.
