Udupi: Udupi Block Congress new office was inaugurated by Pramod Madhwaraj Minister of Fisheries, Sports and Youth Empowerment at 1st floor, Congress Bhavan, Brahmagiri on Friday, 30th December, 2016.
In his inaugural address Pramod Madhwaraj attributed the newly inaugurated office to Senior Congress leader Oscar Fernandes who made it possible to have an own office for the Block Congress.
“With this office in place, now the Congress party workers have to focus on serving the people,” he said adding that party workers will have to establish direct contact with the people and respond to their problems.
During the occasion Udupi Block Congress President Sathish Amin Padukere, Udupi Municipal Council President Meenakshi Bannaje, CMC member Celine Karkada, leaders B. Narasimhamurthi, Kirthi Shetty, Prakyath Shetty, Dinakar Kundar, Sujaya Poojary, Mallika Balakrishna, Ganesh Nergi, Keshav Kotian, Bhaskar Rao Kidiyoor, Altaf, Dinesh Puthran, Prashanth Poojary, Aleyoor Harish Kini, Keshav Kotian, Rehman Manipal, Jayashree Krishnaraj, Umesh Naik and other among were present.
