Ramanagara: MP D. K. Suresh has indirectly challenged Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy to issue and release a booklet titled “My Contributions to the District”, as be claims to have developed the District.
He was speaking at a public meeting organised by the Congress party at Jalamangala Village under Kootagal Hobli in the Taluk of the District. “Those who were elected as MLAs from Ramanagara Assembly Constituency and became Chief Ministers twice declare in front of the people that they have given their everything to the District. But he had never thought of an irrigation project. The Sattegala Irrigation Project is the contribution of D. K. Shivakumar. He wrote the foreword to the project when he was the Water Resources Minister. No one knew from where to get water for the District, he recalled.
“But today, he claims in front of the people that everything is my plan,” he said, without naming Kumaraswamy.
