Tulu film “Kori Rotti” to release in Mangaluru, Udupi on October 26

Udupi: Tulu film “Kori Rotti” finally has a release date! During a press meet on Sunday, October 21, it was announced that the movie would be released on October 26 in the Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.

Addressing the media at the Udupi Press Club, producer of the film, Mohd Irfan informed that the inauguration of the film will be held at Jyothi Cinema Mandir in Mangaluru and Kalpana Theatre in Udupi at 9.30 AM on October 26.

He added that the film has been produced under the banner or Rocket Creations with a budget of Rs. 1 crore. It is a mix of comedy, suspense and entertainment.

“The film will undoubtedly be a hit in the market,” Irfan said.

The film has Rajneesh, who is also the director, and actress-anchor Anushree in the lead. Comedian Navin D Padil will also be seen in an important role in the film. He will also be seen performing the traditional tiger dance. “Kori Rotti” will also exhibit the rich Tulu culture for its viewers, he added.

Rajneesh has also written the story, screenplay and the dialogues for the film. Vikram Selvam of the Tamil industry has composed the songs while Bollywood’s Subhaiah Kuttanna handled the cinematography. Sathish Bandale, Manju Rai, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli and Sandalwood actor Harish Rai will be seen in pivotal roles, he elaborated.

Shareef Katipalla, Uday and Pavan Kumar joined as assistant directors for the film, which is one of its specialities. Playback singers Rajesh Krishnan and Zee TV Sarigamapa award winner Suhan Syed sang the three songs in the film, added Irfan.

Ansar Ahmed, Rajneesh, Bharath Kumar, Anwar and others were present.
