Udupi: Police on Friday July 22 received the preliminary medical report of the driver of the ambulance which crashed at a toll booth in Shiroor, claiming the lives of four people.

According to the medical report based on the blood sample testing, Roshan had no alcohol content.

However, police haven’t reached a conclusion, based on the preliminary medical report. They are waiting for the FSL report as it would be the detailed one following a careful analysis of the sample. It can take about 7 and 10 days to arrive. There were speculations that the driver may have been drunk. Roshan has been booked under IPC sections 279 (punishment for rash driving) and 304 (A) Punishment for causing death by negligence).
