Udupi: BJP State Secretary Jagadish Hiremane said the opinion poll campaign of Shakti Kendra and above office-bearers, which is one of the candidate selection processes for the Assembly elections being conducted by the BJP within the framework of its party’s constitution, is a historic step among political parties.
He was speaking at the Assembly election mandal opinion poll meeting held at the BJP District office on Saturday April 1 under the Chairmanship of BJP District President Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak.
He said the BJP would stand first in seeking feedback from an ordinary party worker on who should be the candidate for the Assembly constituency in his constituency.
