Udupi: Bharat Jodo Yatra would have helped in Goa Liberation, says Pramod Sawant.
Speaking to mediapersons after visiting the Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi, Sawant said that the Congress should have undertaken the yatra that Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi was undertaking now in 1947. If Bharat Jodo Yatra had been done then the Liberation Of Goa would not have been delayed. At least by 1950, we would have been liberated. In 1955, our freedom fighters had to wage war against the Portuguese and many were martyred. “If India had joined hands then, North East India would have been an integral part of the whole of India and an India comprising the whole of Kashmir would have been ourzs,” he said.
“Leaders from other parties are coming to BJP after seeing the leadership and visionary plans of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister is an inspiration to the youth who dream of Akhand Bharat, New India. They are joining hands with the dream of Clean India and Make in India. In Goa, outsiders have come to the BJP with the dream of building a New India. The magic that happened in Goa can happen elsewhere in the country as well, expressed Pramod Sawant with confidence.
