Udupi: The Udupi District Congress, under the aegis of Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes, staged a protest in front of the Gandhi statue at Bhujanga Park in Ajjarkadu against the illegal disqualification of Congress National leader Rahul Gandhi from his membership of Parliament.

Hundreds of Congress workers gathered and raised slogans against the Central Government.

Congress leader Amrit Shenoy said, “Rahul Gandhi is a force that cannot be stopped. No matter what they did, his voice could not be silenced.”

“Today, Rahul Gandhi is exposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is being made completely naked in front of the people of the Country. Rahul Gandhi is telling the people about the injustices done by the Central Government. Hence, they are conspiring to stop Rahul Gandhi,” he said.
