Udupi: Energy Minister Sunil Kumar said that with regard to electricity tariff hike, the rules put in place by the previous governments are still continuing. The common people are suffering under this system that Congress introduced.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday October 2 he said, “Our government has not introduced any new rules. I have urged the Chief Minister to reconsider the existing system. We will think on the rule of readjustment of electricity tariff once in three months. I will immediately talk about the pros and cons with the CM and will not think twice to change the rule if necessary.”
“Congress lacks the moral right to address corruption and the common man. Congress’s trademark is corruption. In situations of corruption, their leaders are out on bail. They are participating in the Bharath Jodo march with clarity in their ideals. It’d be better if Congress made an effort to first bring together its members,” he said.
