Udupi: Fisheries, Ports and Inland Water Transport Department and District In-charge Minister S. Angara has instructed the officials to make all necessary preparations to organise a massive District-level Beneficiaries’ Conference in Kaup Constituency on Sunday March 5 to distribute the benefits of various Government schemes directly to the beneficiaries in the District.

He was speaking after presiding over a preparatory meeting on organising a conference of beneficiaries at the District level held at Zilla Panchayat Hall in the City on Monday February 27.

The Minister asked all the departments to provide detailed information about the benefits offered under the beneficiary-oriented schemes in them so as to facilitate distribution of benefits of various Beneficiary-oriented Departments’ Schemes on a single platform through various schemes of the Central and State Governments to the public of the District through various schemes of the Central and State Governments.

This will enable proper implementation of Government schemes and proper utilisation of funds besides supporting their economic growth by distributing benefits to all eligible beneficiaries in the District. He asked the officials to act immediately if funds have been available in the Departments so far.

The Minister instructed the officials to distribute 94C, 94CC title deeds, pension orders, ration cards and other benefits to the beneficiaries of Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Social Welfare, Backward Classes Department, various corporations, Women and Child Development Department, Differently abled Department, Labour Department, Industries Department, and Revenue Department.

Instructing them to make necessary preparations for organising the beneficiaries’ conference in all the Taluks of the District, the Minister said that all the officials should work in coordination with each other in this programme and ensure that the public gets the benefit of Government benefits.
