Udupi: Prema R. Kamath (89) of Kalyanapura Nejaru, who was admitted to the hospital after she was seriously injured due to her saree catching fire died on Friday November 11.
On October 24, on the occasion of Diwali, a fire broke out in the courtyard of the house and engulfed the saree she was wearing. She was immediately admitted to Manipal Hospital.
Later she was shifted to Goratti Hospital in Kalyanpura.
