Udupi: Byndoor police have detected a case of illegal transportation of cash without any documents near Shirur checkpost.
The car, which did not have a registration number, was on its way from Bhatkal towards Byndoor when it was stopped at Shiroor checkpost and on checking, it was found that there was a plastic bag under the seat of the car. The bag contained Rs. 20 Lakh of money in it.
The operation was carried out by Byndoor Station House Officer Niranjana Gowda and his team.
