Udupi: Minister for Energy and Kannada and Culture V. Sunil Kumar who presided over the Valedictory Function of Parshuram Theme Park and Udupi District Silver Jubilee said that two programmes’ closing ceremony happening at a time is a matter of happiness.
“Karkala should be a brand in the State. He said Karkala has created enthusiasm all over the State through its vigour. The project to bring drinking water to 46000 households through the Varahi Project will be completed in the next two years.
Speaking on the occasion “Karkala has developed culturally, religiously and educationally in all spheres. A textile park is being constructed for the benefit of women workers in Karkala Taluk,” he said.
“We are encouraging tourism without any criticism and without doing politics,” he said.
