Udupi: In a two-wheeler collision, a man died and his wife survived with critical injuries in Yadthare junction here.
The deceased has been identified as Jagadish Patwal succumbed to his injuries while on the way to the hospital. His wife Asha is undergoing treatment.
Sources said that, Jagdish had put on the indicator on his motorcycle as he waited to take a right turn towards Kollur rzoad at Yadthare junction. At this juncture, another motorcycle headed towards Byndoor from Kundapur rammed into his vehicle injuring the couple seriously. The injured were taken to the Manipal hospital. A case has been registered at Byndoor Police Station.
