Udupi: A travel company salesman in Udupi has been booked for defrauding the owner of the company.

Rudolph D’Souza, a 44-year-old resident of Banglegudde Kukkundoor, has been identified as the victim.

Rudolph was running a franchise of TBO Tek company Skyline Enterprises for train and air travel booking. The company also provided him with an ID and password.

According to sources, Rudolph got a call from TBO Tek in April 2022 asking him to return Rs. 14,76,284 that had been paid by the company.

He claimed that he had not used his ID or password in two years and said that he had not taken any money from the company.

It was then discovered that a man who was a salesman for the company had taken Rudolph’s ID and password, reset them, and then used them to defraud him.

A case has been registered.
