Udupi: Dakshina Kannada District In-charge Minister Sunil Kumar said that the employment and tourism sector in Coastal region will see progress and will help its people.
Addressing mediapersons he said, “To generate more employment opportunities in the region, a 25-acre-land has been earmarked to establish a textile park at Karkala. This will also help augment economy of the region.”
“For augmenting tourism sector, a theme park with 33-feet-tall Lord Parashurama statue, similar to what was presented to Prime Minister, will come up December 2022,” he added.
