Udupi: The body of a missing fisherman, who had accidentally fallen into the sea at Mangaluru Fishing Port on January 3 was recovered from the seashore near Kaup.
The deceased, identified as Ananda, had gone missing after falling into the sea accidentally while returning from fishing at the Mangaluru Fishing Port.
With the help of diving professionals Eshwar Malpe and Pratap Padukare and a Pursiene boat that was fishing in the region, the mortal remains of Anand that were found in the Kaup Sea were fished out of the water.
His body was handed over to his family after the post-mortem at Ajjarakadu hospital.
He is survived by his mother, wife, son, and daughter.
