Udupi: MLA U.T. Khader called on the BJP to provide a copy of the FIR in connection with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioning Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

Speaking to mediapersons after the protest in Brahmavar he said that there had been no transaction in the National Herald case. “ED officials should show a copy of the FIR in the money laundering case so that everyone can see it. even after questioning Rahul Gandhi for more than 50 hours, ED officials found no substance,” he said. He claimed that the Centre is misusing the ED probe to silence the opposition and called it a political vendetta.

“The BJP has executed its anti-people policies. Congress has launched a protest against them. Therefore, the BJP has resorted to threatening party leaders by using ED,” he added.
