Udupi: Santro Ravi, a notorious dealer who is currently absconding after his involvement in several cases, is suspected to have visited Udupi District, following which the Mysuru Police reached Hebri Taluk of Udupi District and conducted an investigation.
Ravi, who had visited a stall on the road from Hebri to Agumbe, allegedly took a mobile phone from one Ramesh Kulal of Hebri. Ravi had called someone from the phone.
It is learnt that Ramesh Kulal was questioned by Mysuru Police three days ago and his mobile phone has been seized.
