Udupi: The police’s investigating into the autorickshaw blast case found that the accused Sharique visited Sri Krishna Matha on October 11. He was seen roaming on Car Street.
The Matha’s CCTV footage was inspected by the police who are investigating into the case.
The police also checked the CCTVs in the area of Car Street.
According to sources, the police visited Udupi after receiving a clue from a phone call made from Sharique’s mobile device, whose location was found to be on a car street in the City.
A mentally ill woman had asked for his phone during his visit to Udupi so she could make a call. The cops interrogated her and found that she had called her grandson on the phone. According to locals, the woman usually does this.
Shariq travelled to Karkala after visiting Udupi, and the police are looking into the matter.
