Udupi: In a truck – bike accident that occurred at the Padubidri Junction in the District on the afternoon of Tuesday July 5 noon, a biker died on spot.
As per the reports, the truck was travelling towards Mangaluru from Udupi when the driver lost control at the Padubidri Junction and thus the truck fell on the bike. The biker identified as Shamsuddin died on the spot.
According to police sources, the deceased was an ice cream vendor and returning from shandy market when this tragedy struck.
