Udupi: A woman who was on a visit to Shri Krishna Matha on Sunday October 23 was robbed off her purse containing property worth lakhs of rupees.
Sudha Parimala (52) a resident from Rajarajeshwari Nagara had arrived at the Matha with her family and went inside the Matha to have darshan of the Lord. Later that day, Sudha found her handbag unzipped and her wallet inside missing.
The wallet contained a gold mangalasutra, Rs. 4500 cash, ATM card and Aadhaar card. The total value of these is estimated at Rs. 1,24,500.
