Udupi: A 24-year-old youth died of suicide at Haregodu Village of Hemmadi, Kundapur taluk of the District.
The youth has been identified as Vignesh Devadiga, a resident of Haregodu and was working for a company in Bengaluru. As per information, it is said being unable to repay loan is what prompted the youth to take this extreme step.
Vignesh had opened a footwear shop in Bramhavar, and had taken large amount of loan for the same. Scared that he would not be able to pay the loan, he hanged himself at his house in the morning of Thursday December 30.
