Mangaluru: “The weekend curfew in the Dakshina Kannada district will be relaxed from this week,” informed MLA Vedavyas Kamath.
Speaking here on Thursday September 9 he said, “the district administration has decided to impose relaxation on weekend curfew to ensure smooth public activities.”
Kamath said, “Even if the weekend curfew is relaxed, the public should be careful about the safety of their health. ”
MLA requested the public to wear a mask and voluntarily join hands with the governing system by complying with Covid guidelines.
Meanwhile, the State Government has issued an order for the cancellation of the weekend curfew imposed ar the border areas of the districts that share borders with the neighbouring states. This decision has been taken as the positivity rate is decreasing in the State.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai instructed that “If the cases increase, the deputy commissioners of the districts concerned can impose the weekend curfew.”
