Cyclone Biparjoy: Rescue personnel sending tourists back

Ullal: In the wake of cyclone Biparjoy in the Arabian Sea, the sea waves along the coasts of Ullal, Someshwara, and Uchila have increased since early this morning. As per the orders of the district administration, tourists coming to Ullal, Someshwara Beach are being sent back to Bandobast. The impact of the cyclone has started to be visible to the coastal areas of Ullal since early this morning. Huge waves are hitting the edge of the sea, to the rocks at high speeds. The local administration has advised the people of Kotepura, Kodi, Mogaveerapatna, Kaiko, Hilerianagar, Subhashnagar, Kaiko, Summer Sand, Someshwara, Uchila, Battampadi beach areas of Ullal to be careful. As a precautionary measure, the local police station police have been deployed at the spot. Tourists coming to the beach are being sent back. Cyclone Biparjoy, which is forming in the Arabian Sea, is likely to hit the Goa and Mumbai coasts if it moves northwards. At the same time, there will be heavy rainfall along the coast of Maharashtra and Kerala. There will be rough weather in coastal Karnataka from June 8 to June 10. The Meteorological Department reported that Bangladesh had suggested the name Biparjoy for the cyclone.
